‘Hit the Road’ to vie at MIFF

Iranian feature ‘Hit the Road’ has made its way to the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) in Australia.

The Short Film News website said ‘Hit the Road’ will compete in the 70th edition of the MIFF.

Directed by Panah Panahi, the feature film is about “a chaotic family that sets off on a road trip which will change their lives forever”, according to a synopsis for the film.

The Melbourne International Film Festival is a leading film festival in Australia and one of the world’s oldest film festivals, according to website of the event.

The upcoming edition of the MIFF will take place on August 4-21 as an in-person event.

Meanwhile, an online component of the festival will take place on August 11-28.
